Mentor Tech Group Job Codes
Since we are engaging in personal conversations with each contact on our database, we have the luxury of being able to focus on a person's responsibility rather than having to rely strictly on their job title, which does not always tell the whole story. Consequently, we do not segment by job title. Instead, we can offer a more effective way to segment: By job code. This helps us give you exactly what you are looking for.
T - General Training
About 45% of the total Mentor Tech Group database (approx. 18,000 contacts today and growing) is made up of what we call "general" training contacts. For example, titles like VP Training, Director of Training & Development, Director of Organization Development, Chief Learning Officer, VP Education, etc., etc. There are many different titles within this group.
The other 50% of the database is broken down into these job codes, which can be easily excluded or included from a specific list:
EL - E-learning
J - Safety Training or Compliance
ST - Sales Training
S or M - Sales and Marketing VP's/Directors
ITT - IT Training or Technical Training
IT - General IT (not necessarily involved in training; i.e., CIO, Director of IT, etc.)
H - General HR (not necessarily involved in training, i.e., VP HR, Director HR, etc.)
U - Corporate University
CR - Customer Service Training
EX - External Training (Many diff titles: Client Services Training/Product Training/Product Management/Professional Services/Channel Training/Agent Training/Dealer Training/Educational Services/E-Business/E-Commerce contacts)
C - Corporate Communications (not necessarily involved in training; i.e., VP/Dir Corp Communications, etc.)
