Patrick J. Ryan
President & Founder

Pat Ryan brings over 20 years of experience in management, training and business development to Mentor Tech Group. Upon earning a BS degree in Computer Information Systems from Bentley College, he began his career at General Electric in its prestigious Information Systems Management Program. After spending eight years within Information Technology, Pat moved into the sales arena with a startup company.

During the next nine years, Pat developed specialized knowledge in the science of developing a solid sales pipeline - and what it takes to make that happen. He put this knowledge to use during his rise from Sales Rep to the Worldwide Director of Sales, where he took a startup from zero to $8 million in annual sales. He then became North American Director of Sales for London-based Cedar Group, a global enterprise software company and Oracle's longest standing partner in Europe - where sales more than doubled during his first year.

Since founding Mentor Tech Group in March 1999, Pat and his team have empowered the sales & marketing efforts of companies worldwide with best-in-class Market Intelligence and prospecting methodologies - from Fortune 1000 companies down to small startup organizations.





Wayne Provart
Director of Business Development

Wayne Provart has over 40 years experience in sales and training. His training background includes classroom facilitation of sales, management, and customer service training programs. Since 1991 he has been in technology-based training and has consulted with many organizations regarding CBT and e-learning needs. Wayne earned a BS degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois and started his professional sales career with Armco Steel Corporation upon graduation.

Through association with Logic Bay Corporation, Wilson Learning Corporation, Ford Motor Company, J.D. Power and Associates and his own company, Provart & Associates, he has taught, sold, consulted, facilitated, motivated and inspired thousands of people.

Hundreds of satisfied clients have appreciated Wayne’s integrity, persistence, and knowledge. He uses all of his experience to assist clients in defining and fulfilling their needs and does “whatever it takes” to make certain his client’s are more than happy with the result. Wayne joined Mentor Tech Group in 2003.





Michelle K. Burt
Manager, Special Projects

Michelle Burt brings over 18 years of Travel Sales, Event Planning and Aviation/Airline Management to the Mentor Tech Group, Inc. Upon completion of her Travel Planner Certification and Private Pilot's License, she was offered an incentive travel planner position directly from her internship at BI, formerly Business Incentives. She spent three years at BI, as a travel planner and member of the travel staff, accompanying groups to their destinations.

Upon completion of her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, she accepted a position in the pilot training department of Northwest Airlines, Inc. During the next 12 years, Michelle continued her pursuit of recruiting more female pilots at Northwest Airlines and convinced the executive board to sponsor and staff an exhibit booth at the largest female aviation conference in the world, The Women in Aviation Conference. Michelle headed up the Northwest Airlines' planning committee and was on the MNDot Office of Aeronautics board to bring the conference to Minneapolis, MN. She held the position of Manager, Pilot Recruiting and Events until accepting a position with Mentor Tech Group in March, 2002.





Aleshia Humphries
Manager, Prospect Development

Aleshia Humphries has over 15 years marketing experience in working with small and medium sized companies. As Corporate Marketing Director for an international training and engineering company that employed over 1200 workers in more than 60 countries, she established a management and operating structure for the Event Planning department and managed a $400K program budget, and was instrumental in developing business strategies and coordinating over 60 events annually. Her experience also includes coordinating submittal process as well as preparation of bids, proposals, and statements of work for aerospace and manufacturing contracts. She has also supported the American Indian Culture Society through review and editing efforts to ensure that the message and approach to grant writing are streamlined using successful marketing strategies to effectively demonstrate the need for funding and its budgetary process. Aleshia joined Mentor Tech Group in 2003.




Cathy L. Ryan
Manager, Database Quality

Cathy Ryan brings over 18 years of experience in education and training to Mentor Tech Group. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from St. Olaf College, she went on to spend the next 15 years at Children’s Hospitals & Clinics-Minneapolis as a Clinical Nurse Educator. She received ANCC Certification for Continuing Education and Staff Development and served as a member of the hospital’s Education Board and Professional Practice Council. She coordinated the hospital mentor program and provided associated mentor development. Her experience includes development, implementation, evaluation and coordination of orientation and continuing education.

Cathy is also trained as an RTS Bereavement Counselor, Certified Basic Life Support Instructor, and Certified Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor.

Other innovations include co-founding Kidsteps Productions in 1994, where she created and produced educational videos that provided a fun, memorable and interactive way to teach children and increase their self-confidence.

Cathy joined Mentor Tech Group in 2002.
